The Struggle of a Weak Aristocrat in a Different World C24: Misunderstanding
When I woke up, the pleasant morning light coming through the window made my heavy eyelids feel even heavier. As I turned over to go back to sleep, I saw a man’s legs sticking out from under the bed through the crack in my slightly open eyelids.
“Oh, my God!”
I was so surprised that my eyelids, which had been so heavy, were too light to open wide.
I hear a muffled voice coming from under the bed. It was too dark to see clearly yesterday, but the man’s skin was a burnt wheat color, and I knew he was from outside the country.
“Hey! What the hell are you doing here? Come out and go home now!”
“Oh, that’s the voice of the man who took me home yesterday. Where am I?”
“You’re under the bed! Come out now!”
I rushed the brown man with a frustrated tone.
“I’m having trouble with my sleeping patterns! Hahahaha!”
The man laughed aloofly.
“Get out of here!”
The sudden change in tone of voice gave me a bad feeling.
“Hey, what’s wrong?”
“I can’t get out.”
“How the hell did you get in here?”
“I was asleep. Ha ha ha ha ha!”
You bastard! You’re a genius at getting on people’s nerves!
“I’m pulling you out!”
“Sure, come on.”
I held both brown legs at my sides and pulled. That’s when the door opened with a slam.
“Are you all right, sir? Master Chris……?”
Macbeth was stunned. From his angle, I appear to be in the position of an adult wheelbarrow.
“Dear Chris……I don’t care a bit what kind of sexuality you have. As long as you don’t do it with me, because I have no intention of doing it…….”
“No! It’s a misunderstanding!”
At that moment, the brown man made a muffled sound.
“Ow! Ow! Slow down!”
“I knew it!”
Macbeth turned pale and ran from the room.
“Hey! What the hell are you saying?”
“You have to pull slower or it hurts!”
Immediately afterwards, I followed Macbeth, and it took me an hour to clear up the misunderstanding.
“So, this is the guy you brought in?”
Macbeth said, looking at the man with only his legs sticking out of the bed.
“Well, I’ve only seen his feet. Also, watch your words. You still don’t believe me, do you?”
“No, I’m just messing with you.”
“Okay. I’ll lift the bed.”
Macbeth and I split up on either side of the bed and lifted it up.
“All right, I’ve lifted it! Come on out!”
Then we heard a thumping sound, so Macbeth and I pulled the bed down. But we couldn’t see the man outside the bed, not even his legs.
“Idiot! What are you doing rolling towards the bed?”
I heard a distracted voice from under the bed.
“You slept through the whole thing!”
“Oh, my God! I can’t move! What the hell is this? I’m trapped under the bed!”
After that, I called the other squires and finally managed to rescue him.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to bother you.”
I could sense that the man was offended, but his tone of voice didn’t stop me from being annoyed.
“If you think you’re bothering me, leave.”
“You’re a good brother, please let me buy you a drink or something! Of course I’ll buy you all a drink!”
No, I don’t mean that. I really want you to leave. Please. However, despite my feelings, the three of them shouted with joy.
“It’s daytime drinking!”
The four of them skipped off into the city, and I trudged after them.
