Buy Me a Coffee at ko-fi.com

After successfully climbing over the fence, Lin Wu received a location ping from Li Junchi – he and Xia Yang had found the person they were looking for.

Lin Wu was surprised at how fast they had found him. Upon checking the location, it was just around the corner on the opposite street, no more than 300 meters in a straight line from the north gate.

With the location tracker in hand, it was easy to find.

Since there were hardly any reckless drivers on the street in this kind of weather, Lin Wu ran directly in a hundred-meter sprint along the shortest diagonal line indicated by the location tracker.

When he arrived, he hadn’t even had a chance to see clearly what was happening when he heard Xia Yang swearing.

“You drive a Porsche Cayenne, do you have wind fire wheels or a universe ring? Did you install fish gills to traverse underwater or a propeller to fly? Anyone with more than two brain cells knows that driving in this weather is suicidal. You guys went and did it anyway, please find a place with no one around and just crash there. What street did you come out of? You’re bringing disgrace to our country and its youth. Are you so heartless?”

“What kind of crap is this? You parked your car properly by the side of the road and the damaged suitcase is our fault? I also said we tried walking around the corner, yet you still went ahead and hit him. Don’t embarrass yourselves here, okay? Are you parked by the side of the road? There are no lines on the ground and if there were, it would be a double lane. You’re definitely driving on the wrong side of the road, and you’re still insisting that you are in the right. If a master of performance art came, they would have to give you a thumbs up. If they don’t, it means they don’t understand art…”

As Lin Wu approached, the scene finally came into focus.

A Porsche Cayenne with scratched paint near the right taillight, an open suitcase on the ground, with clothes and Harbin sausage still inside. Several items had fallen out of the luggage and created some dents on the dirt road nearby, but it wasn’t clear if they were caused by the fallen items.

This area was all barren land surrounded by developing wasteland, and the roads were all dirt roads like this one. There were no traffic lights, no zebra crossings, and no surveillance cameras, but even if there were cameras, in this weather – they wouldn’t be useful.

There were four people on the other side, all standing around the car. As Xia Yang had said, their car was almost in the middle of the road. It was possible to stop there, given the thick fog, which made it impossible to continue driving. However, if they claimed they had parked by the side of the road, they were lying.

However, Xia Yang’s description of “our country’s youth” was a bit off.

They were young, but the other side looked even younger! Just four little rascals who seemed to be a year or two younger than them.

Lin Wu’s anger had subsided a bit.

“Dayu, are you okay?” He asked the most important question first.

“I’m okay,” Ren Feiyu replied, looking around with a hoarse voice. “The fog was too thick, and I was in a hurry to get back to school. I didn’t see their car parked in the middle of the road, and my suitcase hit them directly.”

“As long as you’re okay,” Lin Wu said, relieved. Then he felt a little dizzy. “Why do you keep shaking your head?”

“I’m not ah…” Ren Feiyu stopped shaking his head and looked up at the sky.

Lin Wu frowned and held his head, forcing him to look him in the eye.

The fog was thick, but it couldn’t hide the corner of Ren Feiyu’s mouth that had been split open.

Lin Wu’s voice turned cold. “Did they hit you?”

If this was true, this would become a seriously messy issue. One side parked randomly, and the other side wasn’t paying attention, but ultimately, it was the fault of this damn weather. If both sides took a step back, it would be fine.

“Not only did they hit him,” Li Junchi sneered. “They also want Dayu to pay them ten thousand to have their car repainted at the 4S shop.”

Lin Wu chuckled and began cracking his knuckles one by one. “Gold paint, huh?”

“It’s not your turn,” Li Junchi patted his roommate’s shoulder, then nodded his chin toward the other side.

Lin Wu looked over, still confused. It was then that he noticed that the faces of the four people on the other side were all bruised. The leader, who still had a full beard, was probably using his lackeys as shields while he hid behind them during the fight.

When it came to fighting, Lin Wu was responsible for the main output, Xia Yang assisted with his mouth, Li Junchi was the flanker, and Ren Feiyu protected himself. He had never been restrained before he could get into a fight. Although he had said the other side were little rascals, they were all seventeen or eighteen years old and were not at a disadvantage in terms of physique or numbers.

“What did you do to them?” Lin Wu looked at Ren Feiyu in disbelief.

Ren Feiyu was even more incredulous. “How is that possible?”

…He knew.

That left only one possibility.

Lin Wu raised an eyebrow at Li Junchi. “Did you and Xia Yang do it?”

Li Junchi shook his head. “Xia Yang did it himself.”

Lin Wu asked, “You didn’t intervene?”

Li Junchi replied, “Intervene? With his crazy fighting style, I was afraid I would get beaten up if I got involved.”

Lin Wu was completely confused and turned to Xia Yang, who was still arguing with the group of “little rascals.”

“What’s going on here…”

The four little rascals in the Cayenne were now in the same mood as Lin Wu.

They never imagined that the helper brought in by the coward would not only not be a coward but also be crazy as hell.

As the saying goes, the timid fear the powerful, the powerful fear the crazy, and if there is anything scarier than the crazy, it is crazy with a broken mouth.

“Didn’t your parents teach you to respect the elderly, be kind to children, yield to pedestrians, wait for the bus, help grandma onto the subway, and give grandpa a seat? Did you learn nothing during nine years of compulsory education? Do you even know which way is north, south, east, and west when you drive your crappy car? Are you eighteen yet? Do you even have any pubic hair? Is the car even yours? Show me your driver’s license and registration…”

The four of them clearly couldn’t hold it in any longer. The leader could still lean against the car’s body and maintain a stubborn posture by stiffening his neck, but the three behind him looked like their heads were about to explode.

They secretly pulled on him several times and whispered, “Let’s just forget it. You don’t even need this little bit of money…”

The leader’s face grew even worse. He said fiercely, “I don’t need this little bit of money, but he’s from this school. Since he’s from this school, it has to be ten thousand. Not one penny less.”

Xia Yang said, “Hey, I’ve seen people who hate the rich and the beautiful, but it’s the first time I’ve seen someone who hates students. Are you dyslexic or just dumb? Let me teach you: When Little U meets JQX, wipe away your tears and don’t cry. When a noun ends with a consonant Y, change the Y to I and add ES…”

The leader “…”

The terrifying thing about this shouting match was not the opponent’s rich vocabulary, but the fact that even if you were as educated as they come, you couldn’t find an opportunity to speak, and the fact that you weren’t even as educated as they were.
